Girley Harvest Festival 2010

Lastyear, in 2010, a few of us here in the dunmore vintage club headed off to the glorious Co. Meath to see what was on offer at their show. we were presented with a massive 38 acre exhibition site which boasted one of the best shows we have seen, fostering new ideas for our own show but also apprecieating some of the unique charachteristics of their excellently organised show.
The girley harvest festival is a working event where exhibitors are actively encouraged to come and work their machines, and not simply exhibit parked machinery, At any one time there is up to 30 machines in operation. despite the huge crowds, there is still likely more participants than onlookers. this type of a show is what we here in the dunmore vintage club are striving to achieve.
